I’m David Tran, a senior motion designer with more than ten years of experience working with a broad range of clients – from large brands to established animation studios. For more than ten years I've helped to bring products and stories to life.
Every project is a puzzle deserving of a custom workflow that fits the budget. The goal is always to spend time where it matters and make animations reusable without rebuilding everything from scratch. The medium follows the idea, never the other way around.

My background spans film postproduction, real-time and high-end product visualization, so I approach every brief from several angles. The medium follows the idea: sometimes that's 3D, sometimes live footage, sometimes AI-assisted production, often a mix.
I use AI intelligently, to explore more ideas early, iterate faster and make ambitious campaigns achievable on realistic budgets, while keeping the final result precise and on-brand. You get agency-level thinking and quality, without the agency overhead.

I've created work for well-known brands such as Vodafone, GEA, Cabinplant, Kingfisher, Duravit, Interstuhl and many more, from consumer products and furniture to full-scale industrial machines. Complex products and strict brand guidelines are where a thoughtful campaign really shines.
I work directly with brands and partner with agencies and studios on larger productions, covering the full process from concept to final delivery. My work has been seen in cinemas, at trade fairs, in museum exhibitions, retail stores and on TV.
Fun fact: One of the TV series I contributed to even went on to win an Emmy for Best Short-Form Series!
